Here at the Rep Route office we're buzzing to once again be counting down the days in the build up to an enthralling exciting summer abroad! Summer 202* is bound to be an unforgettable experience considering the worlds on-goings and brand new events brands and events ready to hit Laganas strip. With several holiday makers forced to delay their 2020 holiday to the summer of 2021 combined with the introduction of Euro 2021 Football vibes involving both England & Scotland for the first time in years and topped off with some brand new events including major headline acts, we genuinely believe this summer has all the ingredients to be the best one yet!
With a load of reasons and activities to look forward to, as early as 4 months from now, we thought we'd list our top 5 best things about working a summer season abroad, and here it is!
1 MEET NEW LIKEMINDED PEOPLE
The people you meet whilst working abroad can be extraordinary! With several different nationalities of party people in one place we all speak the same language when going crazy at the pool parties, the strip shenanigans as well as all the antics that go on! We've found all of our workers to be very likeminded when sharing the ambition to get abroad and travel and enjoy each others company spending the summer of their lives together in the sun shine. Anybody that's ever done a season before will tell you that the people you meet become like family very quickly and it, quite simply, is a life changing experience which many say was the best thing they've ever done. 2 THE BIGGEST BOAT PARTIES IN EUROPE
Boat parties in Zante are one of the most coveted events on the island. The boat party specialists know how to throw a sea session with unlimited drinks, shots & the biggest UK Dance, Tech and DnB tunes! Throw in a variety of party people in to the mix & a 3-tier super yacht and you have a massive boat party ready to go! Hosting their own day-time pre parties at one of Zantes best venues, free bus transport to and from the harbour as well as a huge after party serving free drinks and even free pizza. 3 EXPERIENCE GREEK FOOD & DRINK
If you haven't tried Greek food before you genuinely do not know what you're missing! Greeks are master of charcoal-grilled and spit-roasted meats. Souvlaki, chunks of skewered pork, is still Greece’s favourite fast food, served on chopped tomatoes and onions in pitta bread with lashings of tzatziki. Gyros, too, is popular served in the same way. Greek Moussaka: luscious layers of juicy beef mince (or lamb) are cooked in a tomato based sauce, layered with sweet eggplants and creamy béchamel sauce and baked together until golden perfection.. Simply irresistible! The local beer in Greece is Mythos, combine one of these Greek favourites, sit yourself down in one of the resorts sea view venues and take in the culture. Never tried it before? 4 SHIPWRECK BEACH
Navagio Beach or Shipwreck Beach, is an exposed cove, sometimes referred to as “Smugglers Cove”, on the coast of Zakynthos, in the Ionian Islands of Greece. It is widely regarded to as one of the wonders of the wrold and is a MUST SEE whether you are visiting or working on the island! This area has clear blue water and white sand beaches which is the major attraction for overseas tourists. Visiting Navagio by boat is a must on Zakynthos but it cannot be compared to the view revealed from edge of the cliffs above. Seeing the beach from the sea and from the cliff top is like seeing two different places and the best is if you can do both.
5 BEACH CLUB SESSIONS
The resort of Laganas has recently become home to several renovated brand new & classic beach club venues. Malibooz, Hamsa & Infinity to name a few shall be home to several Tropic Events parties this coming Summer 2021 including premium style vibes, high profile DJ performances, champagne on tap & a variety of luxurious cocktails to choose from. With views of the Ionian sea from the venues as well as top shelf beverages, entertainment and even hosting their own swimming pools we can't wait to be poolside partying with you guys very soon to house and techno classics!
