💌 An Open Letter to our Summer 2025 Guests

Firstly, I would like to thank all of you for placing your trust in Rep Route for your Summer 2025 season working abroad in Zante. It truly means a lot that you chose to join us and be a part of the summer season, which has now come to an end with our final departure of the season.

With the summer season closing, we’ve taken the time to review and analyse everything that took place: what worked well, where challenges arose, and the valuable feedback you shared. Guest happiness is — and always will be — our number one priority, and we remain committed to providing the best working holiday experience possible.

That being said, Summer 2025 did present a number of challenges which, in some cases, impacted the level of service we strive to deliver. We feel it’s important to be transparent about these findings, to demonstrate that we have listened to your feedback, and to share the changes we are putting in place for Summer 2026 to ensure an even stronger experience.

Whilst several positives have been taken from the summer season, this report itself focuses more so on the challenges and how we have reacted to these moving forwards.

🏨 Accommodation

🏖️ Athrodite Hotel

New for 2025, Athrodite Hotel was introduced to house up to 80 Rep Route guests together in one complex, with the added benefit of a pool, sun loungers, bar, and supermarket facilities. While these amenities were well used and contributed positively to the experience, there were challenges. Strict policies enforced by the hotel (such as restrictions on bringing in food/drinks) and ongoing monitoring by management created tension for some guests. More concerning, allegations were raised about cleaning staff and missing items from rooms.

The most serious issue arose in August, when the hotel owner, Niko, breached our agreement and attempted to evict Rep Route guests with no notice. Our resort team acted quickly, rehousing all affected guests into other accommodation blocks and securing additional rooms at Savvas De Mar, Maui, and Hotel Vassos.

Moving forward: Rep Route has terminated any future partnership with Hotel Athrodite while the current owner remains in charge. Proceedings are pending in relation to the early eviction.

🏘️ Atlantis Studios

A long-standing partner since 2023, Atlantis Studios offers centrally located studios with kitchen facilities. Feedback this year highlighted some wear and tear — paintwork, doors, and fridges needing attention.

Moving forward: The landlord has committed to significant refurbishments ahead of Summer 2026, including fresh paint, repairs, and general enhancements.

🌺 Aloha Apartments

With us since 2023, Aloha Apartments continued to run smoothly. No significant issues or complaints were raised in 2025.

💦 Splash / Lunzi Rooms

Also new for 2025, Splash and Lunzi provided twin and triple studios, plus the two-bedroom Splash House. Guests appreciated the air conditioning, and no major issues were reported. A Brand New Laganas Hotel Accommodation is due to be revealed in due course to add to the list of Zante 2026 Rep Route Rooms.

👩‍🤝‍👨 Resort Rep Support

Recruiting and training the right Resort Rep Team is central to ensuring the standard of support that Rep Route guests deserve. While Summer 2025 saw challenges that resulted in two dismissals due to performance and behaviour, we also want to highlight that many of our reps performed exceptionally well and received nothing but positive feedback.

Those reps who excelled & received high praise will be invited to reapply for Summer 2026 and will be considered alongside the many applications we’ve already received.

By refreshing our resort management and rep team while also recognising those who shone this year, we are confident that our Resort Rep Team for 2026 will deliver the very best experience for all guests.

💳 Deposit Returns

To ensure clarity and accountability, our 2025 policy required all guests to email our admin team within 7 days of leaving their accommodation in order to reclaim their damage deposit. This process was clearly stated in:

• The booking terms and conditions (issued at the time of booking and attached to confirmation emails).

• A direct email to all guests on 14th June 2025.

• The Zante 2025 Workers Group on Facebook.

• The check-in form, signed upon arrival, which confirmed acceptance of house rules and terms.
  

Any guest who followed this process should have already received their deposit refund. If you believe you have followed the correct steps but have not yet received your return, please contact us immediately at admin@rep-route.com so that we can resolve this promptly.

✅ Summary

As with every summer season, challenges are inevitable — but how we respond defines the guest experience. This review has been an important opportunity for us to reflect, acknowledge areas where we can do better, and confirm the actions we are taking to improve for 2026.
